On April 29, 2024, a regular meeting of the academic committee was held at the Department of Finance and Economics of the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University. The committee meeting was attended by heads of regional, regional, city enterprises, heads of government agencies, directors of bank branches, students, teachers and graduates, who discussed projects of educational programs 6B04106 – “Finance”, 7M04101 – “Finance”, 6B04105 – “Accounting and Auditing” “, 6B11101 – “Tourism” 6B04104 – “State and municipal management”, 6B04103 – “Management”, 6B04102 – “Economics”, 7M04102 – “Economics” for the 2024-2025 academic year and discussed the learning results. This event is traditionally held annually and is aimed at improving the content and quality of the university’s educational programs.

Participants of the meeting: Head of the Regional Development Department of the Department of Strategy and Economic Development of the WKR Yerkegalieva R.Zh., Head of the Treasury Department for the West Kazakhstan region Zhurumukhamedov B.B., Head of the branch of Bank Center Credit JSC Mikhailova N.V., Head of the Chamber entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken” Kulanbaev M.M. and other stakeholders discussed current issues such as training in 3 languages, the introduction of the SONO program, a minor for training specialists with knowledge of English in the field of tourism and hotel business, training of qualified specialists in public procurement and etc., shared opinions. Based on the results of the meeting, a decision was made to make appropriate changes to the educational programs.
