On 26 April 2024 professor of West Kazakhstan Agrarian University named after Zhangir Khan, Doctor of Philosophy, Tlekzhan Hasenovich Ryskaliev held a guest lecture for the 1st year students of Industrial Technologies Institute on the theme «Abay’s Philosophy». The scientist told about the way, science, world outlook, philosophy of Abay. Abay’s idea «To be a man» was revealed to the students. «The limitation between philosopher and thinker is unreasonable, because philosophy is the art of thinking, and a thinker always implements a certain philosophy. The difference is that professional philosophers follow science, turn to reason, emphasise on the external world, objects, while thinkers – on man, pay more attention to life, to be closer to man, turn to feelings, emotions, rely on art, literature, religion», – concluded the scientist.
