In order to effectively solve a set of problems to improve the practical training of magistrands of EP Physical Culture and Sports on the basis of the branch of the department “Regional specialized boarding school-college of the Olympic reserve”, instructors of the department “Social disciplines and physical culture” held a seminar on December 25, 2023 on the topic : “Selection in sports as the basis of elite sport.” At the seminar, a report was made by Candidate of Pedagogy, professor Melnikov V.L., associate professor Bakesova R.M., senior instructors – Medresov B.A., Makashev Sh.A., Bulatov O.K., Bisaliev S. A. magistrand Zhaskairatov A.Zh. and students. The seminar participants – pupils, students and teachers – became familiar with the basic methods of selection in sports, the main stages of sports selection.
