Currently, the topic of Internet fraud, gambling and drug trafficking is becoming increasingly relevant in the world, and victims are people who are not aware of these topics and do not know how to react and what to do when faced with such phenomena.

In this regard, on February 8, 2024, at the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, by the vice-rector for educational work of the university Abekeshev A.I. and acting head of the Department of educational work and social issues of the Institute Nurmanova A.I. a series of lectures was held on the topic: “Preventing of Internet fraud, gambling addiction and drug trafficking among young people.” The deputy head of the local police department of the Abai Department of Internal Affairs, police major Spashev Samat Abatuly, and the head of the criminal police department of Uralsk, police major Ageleuov Amirzhan Konysuly, who are directly involved in these issues and have extensive experience in this work, were invited to the meeting.

Within the walls of the Institute of Education and Management, 4 guest lecture hours were held, in which 416 students participated from 18 academic groups. The lectures were very interesting, the students asked a lot of questions and gave feedback. The round table was held in a lively, relaxed atmosphere, arousing great interest from students.
