In September 2018, Simpson Ronald Cowe an engineer-designer of the company BP (Algeria) was invited to lecture on English language on the topic “Health and safety in the oil and gas industry” at the Engineering and Technological Faculty of West Kazakhstan Innovation-Technological University. The event was attended by a large number of listeners, including heads of сhairs, faculty staff, teachers of a foreign language, students of specialties “Life safety and environmental protection”, “Oil and gas business”,” Ecology “,”Construction “,”Electric power industry”,” Veterinary Sanitation”.

Teachers and students of the university showed great interest in the topic of lectures. Special interest and response from listeners was caused by information on the organization of safety at work, that a gross violation of safety precautions is the most common cause of accidents and accidents at site or factory. Students asked lecturer a lot of questions, to which he answered in detail. After lectures all students received certificates.
