On October 10, in the building of the Pedagogical faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, an awareness-raising work was conducted among the first-year students on the theme of countering the ideas of extremism and terrorism. The main purpose of this event is the propaganda of traditional religions, carrying out explanatory work in order to prevent terrorism and extremism. The event was attended by chief specialist of the Department of religious affairs of WKR – SeytakovaN., Head of the Center ofstudies on religious affairs of DRA – SakauovaS., curator for religious affairs of the Pedagogical faculty of WKITU – SidakhmetovS.E. Students took an active part in asking questions to specialists and exchanging opinions.
