As part of its career guidance activities in January–February 2026, faculty members of the Department of “Energy, Automation and Computer Engineering” of the Institute of Industrial Technologies at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University held meetings with students of the Higher Engineering and Technological College and the Higher Agrarian and Technical College, as well as with pupils of Secondary Schools No. 48, No. 51, No. 12, No. 39, and No. 26.
The purpose of the event was to help young people make an informed choice of their future profession, increase their interest in technical and engineering specialties, and provide information about opportunities to obtain high-quality education at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University.
During the meetings, the instructors provided prospective students with detailed information about the content of academic programs, the specifics of the educational process, modern laboratories and technical facilities, as well as opportunities for academic mobility and internships at partner enterprises. Particular attention was given to the university’s in-demand majors, their relevance in today’s labor market, and the prospects for graduates’ professional and career growth.
Career guidance presentations were delivered, and comprehensive answers were given to the questions raised by participants. The faculty also shared information about admission requirements, opportunities to obtain grants, and the advantages of student life.
At the conclusion of the event, informational materials on the academic programs offered and graduates’ employment prospects were distributed, and participants were given the opportunity to receive additional consultations.
