On February 18, 2026, a meeting was held at the Department of Architecture and Construction within the framework of the educational program 6B07303 – “Land Management and Cadastre” with Irina Leonidovna Didenko, scientific consultant, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, and specialist of “Ural Agricultural Experimental Station” LLP. During the event, organized as part of the implementation of research projects commissioned by organizations and enterprises, a presentation was delivered on the topic: “Assessment of the Condition of Pastures of ‘Izdenis’ LLP in the West Kazakhstan Region: Forage Capacity and Adaptation to Climate Change.”
The aim of the research is to study the current condition of pastures and to develop ways to increase their productivity under conditions of intensive use in the territory of the West Kazakhstan Region.
The research set the following objectives: to carry out monitoring of the phytocenotic condition of pastures and assess the intensity of their use; to conduct a trend analysis of pasture productivity in relation to climatic conditions; to develop recommendations for the balanced use of pastures, taking into account their forage capacity and adaptation to climate change.
The main research method is a field experiment conducted under production conditions on specially designated plots. The key objective of these plots is to identify differences in the composition of mixed grass vegetation depending on relief and soil conditions, as well as to carry out quantitative and species-based assessments of vegetation and to analyze the dynamics of grazing and regrowth of grasses across vegetation periods and livestock grazing cycles.
