On February 5, 2026, Associate Professor T.Kh. Rakhmetova and Senior Lecturer G.K. Kuatbek from the Department of Law held an explanatory meeting with the faculty of the Department of Energy, Automation, and Computer Science to familiarize them with the new provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
As part of the explanatory work, special attention was paid to the changes and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, their significance for the development of the state and society, as well as the impact of constitutional reforms on the field of education and the academic environment. The participants of the meeting were informed about the main provisions of the reforms aimed at strengthening the rule of law, expanding the rights and freedoms of citizens, increasing the role of civil society, and enhancing the responsibility of state bodies, which contributes to the formation of legal culture and an active civic position among students and faculty members.
At the end of the meeting, it was noted that the explanatory work carried out had helped to raise the awareness of the teaching staff about the key changes in the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their significance, and the importance of further discussing and disseminating this information to students was emphasized.
