On January 22, 2026, first-year students enrolled in the educational programs
6B11301 – Organization of Transportation, Traffic Management and Transport Operation,
6B07101 – Transport, Transport Engineering and Technologies,
6B07104 – Technological Machines and Equipment (by industry)
together with group advisors D.Zh. Gumarov, L.Kh. Sarsenbayeva, and M.K. Urazgaliyeva, visited JSC “West Kazakhstan Machine-Building Company” as part of an introductory industrial tour.

The purpose of the visit was to familiarize students with production processes and the real conditions of their future professional activities. Company specialists provided detailed information about the enterprise structure, the operation of key production workshops, as well as the use of modern equipment and advanced technologies.

During the tour, students became acquainted with the operating principles of machines and equipment used in production and gained practical insight into the operation of transport machinery and the organization of freight transportation. Particular attention was paid to occupational health and safety issues, labor protection regulations, and the requirements imposed on future specialists.

Such practice-oriented activities contribute to the consolidation of theoretical knowledge, the development of professional competencies, and a conscious choice of future career paths. Students noted that the tour allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of the specifics of the industrial environment, the level of responsibility involved, and the importance of their chosen field of study.
