On January 18, 2024, a scientific seminar on the topic “Development of topical issues in the field of veterinary medicine, life safety, ecology, standardization and certification” was held at the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety, the purpose of which is to identify the effectiveness of the research work of teaching staff, the development of scientific potential and the activation of scientific communication among the staff of the department.

On the agenda of the seminar, the teaching staff of the department presented: projects of scientists aimed at the competition for grant financing of scientific research for 2024-2026; performance of research work on orders from enterprises and organizations; reports on the performance of research work by graduate students of universities of the Russian Federation and doctoral students of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023. The results of scientific research carried out according to the calendar plan for 2023 under the project within the framework of grant financing of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2025 “Assessment of polymorphism of the BoLA-DRB3 gene associated with leukemia resistance for the development of scientifically based approaches to marker-oriented cattle breeding” are presented.

Following the results of the scientific seminar, decisions were made: to work on improving the quality of research work of the teachers of the department, to develop a strategic partnership with the business community in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
