On September 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m., the West Kazakhstan Regional Museum of Local Lore hosted the opening of the traveling exhibition “The Great Silk Road and the Medieval Civilization of the Otyrar Valley”, organized by the Otyrar State Archaeological Museum-Reserve.

    The purpose of the traveling exhibition “The Great Silk Road and the medieval civilization of the Otyrar Valley” is to popularize the history and everyday monuments of the Otyrar civilization to the younger generation, increase cultural ties between the regions.

    The event dedicated to the grand opening of the exhibition was attended by representatives of the public, cultural workers, veterans of local lore, as well as teachers and students of the 1,2,3 course of the bachelor’s educational program “History” under the supervision of Associate Professor of the Department of History and Law of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University, Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Murat Dabylovich Kalmenov.
