On April 15, 2022, the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University hosted a meeting of students with the participation of the chairman of the «League of Volunteers of Kazakhstan» Bekkairov Nursultan Bolatovich, as well as the chairman of the “QAZAQSTAN JASTARY” Bakytova Ayaulym Oralkyzy.

The purpose of the meeting is to create a positive image and attract attention to the issues of volunteerism and volunteerism, increase motivation to participate in volunteer activities and assist in the development of volunteer activities in this region.

During the meeting, students were able to learn how to become a volunteer and where to turn for help. Nursultan Bolatovich answered all the questions and told what it means to be a volunteer. According to him, being a volunteer is not only helping other people, first of all it is helping yourself, because such activity tempers and educates the spirit of a person.

As President Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich said: “Volunteering is a matter for the young, a cure for wrinkles.” Volunteering harmoniously complements the existing system of practical training of students, is a way of their self-determination, the process of accumulation of social and professional experience, the possibility of forming professional competence. In addition, all over the world, youth volunteering is traditionally considered as a stage of preparation for future professional activity.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the students asked all the questions they were interested in, and the head, in turn, interested the students in volunteer activities.

At the end of the meeting, many of the students decided to volunteer and make the world a little kinder!
