From September 12 to 16, 2022, on the initiative of the Local history Museum of the Chingirlau district, archaeological exploration work was carried out along the coast of the Akbulak river of the Akshat rural district and the sandy valley adjacent to it. The work was led by Associate professor of the Department of History and Law of the University M. D. Kalmenov, and the work was also attended by students of the second year in the specialty “History” B. Mutigollin and Zh. Sayasatov. During the reconnaissance work in the area of the village of “Enbek”, a settlement was discovered, probably dating back to the 19th century. In the central sector of the settlements, the remains of the foundation of the building were found, where, according to local residents, there was a mosque.On the site of the necropolis located near the settlements, as well as in the sandy valley, kulpytas dating back to the 18th and 19th centuries were discovered.
