The Department of Energetics, automation and computing provides educational services that meet the needs of consumers in the Western region of Kazakhstan and introduces innovations in the field of science, technology and technology, allowing to realize high efficiency of labor productivity, ensuring the transfer of knowledge and experience to students. The department implements bachelor’s degree programs 6B07102 “Electric Power Engineering”, 6B06104 “Computer engineering and information systems”, 6B06102 “Information Systems”, 6B06103 “Computer Engineering and Software”, 6B07105 “Automation and Control”.
The training of specialists at the department is conducted in Kazakh and Russian. The department is constantly working in the field of electric power and power supply, as well as on improving progressive methods of education and professional training of technical personnel in IT areas, competent in performing engineering tasks in various profiles.
The department trains engineering and technical personnel in the profiles that produce high-quality personnel potential of our country, which is extremely important for enterprises in Kazakhstan.
The main activities of the department are conducting scientific research and teaching disciplines in the fields of power supply, as well as in the field of information technology and computer technology. Teachers of the Department of Energetics, automation and computing systematically improve their qualifications in leading universities of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries.
The research work of the teaching staff is of an initiative-search nature within the framework of these areas. The main final results are the release of textbooks, writing articles, making presentations at scientific and practical conferences, updating educational and lecture materials, performing contractual work.
Within the framework of international scientific cooperation, a program of creative cooperation has been developed and signed between the Department of Energetics, automation and computing of WKITU and the Department of Engineering Physics, Electrical Equipment and Electrical Technology of the Vavilov SSAU, as well as the Departments of Electric Power Engineering and Information Systems and Information Protection of the Tambov State Technical University.
The teachers are working on the following projects: “Improving the efficiency of pasture use” (scientific supervisor Sadykova L. A.), “Study of the quality of electricity at the enterprise “Izdenis” LLP” (scientific supervisor Zakharov V. P.), “Development of a mobile application for employee time tracking” (scientific supervisor Utesheva G. Sh.).
