On April 8, 2023, the youth environmental campaign “Green Flag” was held in the 10th microdistrict of the city of Uralsk. During the action, cleaning works were carried out on the territory of the new microdistrict, tree seedlings were planted.

Akim of the region Nariman Toregaliyev, representatives of local youth organizations, civil servants, administration and 50 advisers and students of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, volunteers and fighters of student labor groups “Zhasyl El” took part in the environmental action.

About 300 poplar, lilac, and even seedlings were planted on the territory where the ecological subbotnik was held.
