November 29-30, in honor of the 80-th birthday of the famous writer, public figure, Honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, State prize laureate – Abish Kekilbaev, Ministry of culture and sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Ministry of education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Akimat of Nur-Sultan, the National Academic library of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the newspaper “Egemen Kazakhstan” organized an educational congress and the creative contest “Abish alemi”.

 311 people took part in this competition to re-read and submit numerous writings and essays of the writer to a wide circle of connoisseurs of his works around the world. The senior lecturer of West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University Kuanysh Talap Taimasuly won the competition in the nomination “Abish-abyz, aulie”.
