On October 19, 2022, a round table was organized at the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University on the topic “Continuity of religion and traditions of an independent country”. The round table was attended by 1st and 2nd year students of the pedagogical faculty and the teaching staff.
This topic is becoming an urgent issue on the agenda for national security and internal political stability of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main purpose of today’s event is to inform students about the spread of Islam and its continuity with traditions.

K., naib Imam of the Ural regional Mosque “Modern religious atmosphere of an independent country” – Ubaev N. I., “Continuity of religion and Traditions” -“West Kazakhstan Administration for religious Affairs of the region”, Head of the Department for work with religious associations, specialist theologian A. A. Karatai, ZKITU, senior lecturer of the Department of History and Law, Master of Philosophy E. Shurenbaeva. A., ZKITU, senior lecturer of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, M.P.N., specialist psychologist Khalikova B. T.
With reports on the topic ”The origin and spread of Islam in Kazakhstan” were made by the 2nd year student of the educational program “Psychology Talgatova Bayansulu, “Continuity of religion and traditions” 2nd year student of the educational program “Preschool education and upbringing” Utegenova Mgldir.
All the experts who arrived briefly told about the issues of religion in their field and the ways of working with young people, and also familiarized them with the works. According to the topic, the students asked their guests several questions that bothered them and discussed their thoughts. We have seen that the issue of religion and the continuity of religion is very interesting for modern youth, as all students actively communicated at the round table.
After clarifying the presented data, exchanging opinions, discussing the psychological training “from heart to heart”, dedicated to the formation of personal beliefs and views of students, was conducted by the 1st year student of the educational program “Psychology” Tanatar A. The results of the round table were summed up by the head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology – Kinzhekova Ryskanym Salimovna.
