On August 21, 2026, an August conference for English language teachers was held at Dostyk Secondary School in the Baiterek District. The event focused on improving the quality of education, developing students’ competencies, and integrating national values into the educational process. As part of the conference, Zaure Zhiyenaliyevna Amanbayeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies at the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology, conducted a methodological seminar entitled “Values-Based English Language Teaching in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Quality, Continuity, and New Opportunities.”
Using the Excel textbooks for Grades 5–9 and the Action textbooks for Grades 10–11, she presented approaches to integrating the values of the “Adal Azamat” programme, developing students’ communication skills, and using digital tools. Particular attention was given to the potential of artificial intelligence in the professional practice of English language teachers.
