On March 2, 2026, a master class entitled “Methodology for Preparing Visually-Oriented Educational Materials” was held. The session was conducted by A.N. Shatekova, Master of Science and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Power Engineering, Automation and Computer Engineering.

The event was organized within the framework of developing pedagogical excellence and was dedicated to modern approaches to creating visual educational materials using artificial intelligence tools. During the master class, participants became acquainted with the capabilities of the Napkin AI service — a web-based tool that automatically transforms text into visual elements such as diagrams, infographics, charts, flowcharts, and other types of graphical visualizations.

Special attention was given to the methodology of applying visualization in the educational process:
– how to structure educational material for automatic diagram generation;
– how to transform complex theoretical topics into clear visual models;
– how to use AI tools for preparing presentations and handout materials;
– how to develop students’ visual thinking skills.

In the practical part, participants experimented with converting text fragments of academic topics into clear visual diagrams and discussed the possibilities of implementing visual pedagogy in the learning process.

The event demonstrated the effectiveness of using digital tools and artificial intelligence to improve teaching quality and to develop modern educational content.
