Senior teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Baimukhanova B.K., Kadyrzhanova Zh.E. took part in the International Congress “Psychology of the XXI century”, which was held from September 13 to 15, 2024 in Astana.

The purpose of the congress: familiarization with relevant scientific works, discussion meetings with speakers on current challenges and problems in the field of psychology, discussion of new directions and insights with colleagues, creation of new collaborations, exchange of experience and professional growth. The congress was attended by experts, practical scientists, specialists who work on the front line and face urgent problems in the field of psychology on a daily basis. The plenary session discussed hot trends in the field of psychology in the language of science and practice. The invited speakers shared the results of their research, valuable knowledge and achievements in various fields.

The congress was attended by more than 200 people from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Germany. The congress partners were the leading universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan:

• Department of Psychology of L.N. Gumilyov ENU,
• Department of Clinical Psychology of Astana Medical University.

Following the results of the congress, senior teachers of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Baimukhanova B.K., Kadyrzhanova Zh.E. were awarded the jubilee medal “25 years of the IAPN” by the decision of the Presidium of the International Academy of Psychological Sciences for merits in the field of science and a certificate confirming the passage of the scientific and educational program of the congress.
