On September 27, 2024, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Turkic World: Spiritual and Cultural Space of the Written Heritage of the Middle Turkic Era” was organized in the House of Friendship in Uralsk, West Kazakhstan Region, dedicated to the 60-th anniversary of Professor of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, Doctor of Philology, Turkologist, Honorary Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Sabyr Murat Bukenbayuly.

The moderator was Candidate of Philological Sciences, associate Professor Mamyrov Azamat Ibraevich.

The purpose of the conference is the recognition and promotion of national identity, the study of the past, the assessment of the present, and the vision of the future of the Turkic world.

At the beginning of the conference, a video was shown telling about the life and work of Murat Bukenbayuly, which was continued by the presentation ceremony of the scientist’s next research work. The participants were presented with the book “Language – National Code”, which contains the author’s scientific articles in Kazakh, Russian and Turkish.

The book was published within the framework of the project of the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan “The Language of Written Monuments of the Middle Ages – the World of Spiritual and Cultural Values” (AP19679282).

The scientific work is addressed to scientists and teachers of the social and humanitarian fields, students and master’s students, doctoral students and the general scientific community interested in language and literature.

The welcoming speech of the conference was made by Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor, Honorary Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Rysbekov Tuyakbai Zeitovich, as well as the rector of the university, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Shakeshev Bekbolat Temirzhanovich.

The plenary session of the conference continued with congratulations to Professor Sabyr M.B. The Founders of WKITU Rysbekov T.Z. and Shintemirova B.G., the rector of the university Shakeshev B.T., as well as representatives of the regional and city departments of education and culture congratulated the hero of the day. Video congratulations from mentors-professors of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi BisengaliZ.K., professor of the Institute of Linguistics named after A. Baitursynov Mankeeva Zh.A.and Turkish scientists Goksal Ozturk and Abdullah Kok also sounded about the personal qualities of SabyrM.B.
