On February 9, 2022, the Department of History and Law of the West Kazakhstan University of Innovation and Technology held a training seminar on combining the updated content of education to ensure the continuity of the university and the school system. The guest of the training seminar is the history teacher of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics of the city of Uralsk, Master of Historical Sciences Berdigalieva Larisa Abayevna. During the training seminar, the participants were shown an example lesson on the effective conduct of the lesson using various information and communication tools, visual aids and innovative methods, such as a system of criteria assessment, critical thinking, Bloom’s taxonomy used in the methodology of teaching history. Special attention at the training seminar was paid to the study of the features of the selection and creation of content in the updated curriculum “Kazakh Khanate under Yesim Khan– – the integration of thematic sections, close interdisciplinary connection between historical disciplines, skills of historical thinking, historical consciousness, material aimed at the formation of national and universal values. The issues of formation of knowledge, understanding, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation skills were discussed. The participants of the training seminar aimed at the exchange of experience were assisted in improving the level of professional competence, creativity of the teacher as an effective organizer of training in secondary schools and the university-manufacturer of specialists in updated educational programs. At the end of the seminar, Berdigalieva Larisa Abayovnawas presented with a letter of thanks from the dean of the Pedagogical faculty.
