On November 29, 2023, within the framework of the School of Pedagogical Excellence, a master class was held on the topic “Application of mixed learning methods in a practical lesson” by senior lecturer of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety I.K. Zhumagaliev for students of OP 6B11201 “Life safety and environmental protection”. The practical lesson is devoted to the methodology of providing first aid to a person in case of accidents, which is an urgent direction in the field of life safety. A mixed form of education was used during the lesson.

The blended learning method is an educational approach that combines traditional and electronic learning formats. The lesson combined the traditional form of education with elements of e–learning, which used special information technologies – computer programs, audio recordings, videos, interactive presentations. The advantages of blended learning are consistency, visibility, and continuity. Blended learning is an innovative, modern teaching method. As a result, the students showed interest in the lesson and learned the difference between the effectiveness of traditional and electronic learning methods.
