Teacher’s Day – a professional holiday for teaching staff – was officially established on October 5 of this year. This holiday is celebrated by yesterday’s and today’s schoolchildren, students and candidates of science. The role of a teacher in the life of society cannot be overestimated. On this solemn day, within the walls of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, according to tradition, everyone involved in this profession was congratulated with a festive concert.

Rector of the University, Ph.D. B.T. Shakeshev congratulated and awarded a number of teachers with letters of gratitude from the akims of the West Kazakhstan region and the city of Uralsk.

First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Educational and Methodological Work of the University S.A. Mashanova awarded a group of teachers who made a special contribution to the development of the country’s education sector with a letter of gratitude from the rector, expressing gratitude for their high professionalism and intensive work. The solemn event dedicated to the professional holiday of teachers ended with a festive concert prepared by students. Students dedicated songs to the teaching staff and expressed their respect.
