A national forum “Young teacher: the path to success” for young teachers was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktobe. Lecturer N.N. Bekbulatova from the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University participated in this organised event. The forum became a platform for young teachers not only to exchange opinions but also to learn from successful people and their peers and to receive answers to questions of interest. In thematic panels, teachers had the opportunity to discuss key issues in education and collaboratively search for solutions. Young teachers were offered training on important topics such as lesson structure analysis, increasing functional literacy, SAMR technology, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) by experts from the Pedagogical Excellence Centre. Teachers participating in the national young teachers’ forum also shared their knowledge and various methods they use in teaching.
At the training conducted by the intellectual school’s educational psychologists, teachers learned about the importance of emotional intelligence and mastered ways to recognise and manage emotions. In addition to lectures aimed at enhancing teachers’ knowledge and skills, activities were organised to provide an enjoyable and relaxing time. Young teachers played sports games, painted, and dubbed films. At the final part of the forum, each participant was awarded a special certificate and a letter of appreciation for the young professionals, recognising their enthusiasm and active engagement in professional development.
