03.04.2023 at the Department of «Architecture and Construction» of Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of WKITU, within the framework of the Decade of Science of Faculty of Engineering and Humanities, an exhibition of creative works of 2nd-year students of EP 6B07301-«Architecture» was organized. Works on architectural themes in various techniques and materials are presented: graphics, layout, mixed techniques. One of the compositions is made on the theme of the architecture of the city of Uralsk. 2nd year students Taishurin D.A., Khanykina V.S., Mukambetzhanov E.M., Rakhmatzhanov B.R., Dudykina T.A. under the guidance of senior lecturer of the Department «Architecture and Construction», Master of Arts Kenzhina Zh.S. demonstrated a responsible attitude to work, creativity and enthusiasm!

In the laboratory «Building Materials and Thermophysics», the head of the Department «Architecture and Construction» – Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Narikov K.A. and senior teachers of the department, Masters of Technical Sciences Taskaliev A.T. and Bekkaliev N.M. with students of the 3rd year of EP 6B07302-«Construction» conducted research work on the discipline «Construction materials» and experimental work on the discipline «Technology of concrete». The 3rd year students studied the physical and mechanical properties of loess-like loams of the Khalilovsky deposit, conducted experimental work with the addition of oil sludge using the clay base of this deposit. The main goal is to improve the quality of red bricks through the use of oil waste in production. Also, work has been carried out to determine the technological properties of concrete and the density of cement in the discipline «Concrete Technology».
