On September 1, as part of Knowledge Day, curatorial sessions on the topic “The Constitution and Youth: Rights and Responsibilities” were held on the initiative of the lecturers of the Department of Philology and Teaching Methods.

The curatorial sessions were conducted separately with the students of groups KYaL T-111 and MUZ-111 by their respective advisors, G.U. Kazkenova and K.M. Zhubanova.

During the curatorial session, first-year students were provided with information about the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its significance in the life of the state and society, as well as the rights and responsibilities of citizens. In addition, the students were informed about the university’s internal regulations, academic requirements, students’ rights and responsibilities, and the principles of academic integrity and ethics.

During the meeting, the students were also informed about the importance of actively participating in the educational and extracurricular activities of the university, complying with the internal regulations, maintaining respectful relationships with lecturers and fellow students, and responsibly fulfilling their academic duties. Particular attention was paid to issues of legal awareness and civic responsibility among young people, after which the students shared their opinions and views on the topic of the meeting.

The curatorial session was held in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere and was aimed at helping first-year students adapt to the university environment, increasing their legal awareness, and fostering a sense of civic responsibility at the beginning of the new academic year.
