On September 1, the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University held a ceremonial event dedicated to Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new academic year.

The celebration took place in front of the academic building of the Institute of Education and Management. The event brought together first-year students taking their first steps into university life, faculty members, parents, and honored guests. The festive atmosphere, warm greetings, and sincere wishes made this special day particularly memorable.

At the ceremony, the Rector of West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, B.T. Shakeshev, Candidate of Technical Sciences and Associate Professor, addressed the audience and congratulated the students and faculty members on the beginning of the new academic year. He wished the students success in their studies and pursuit of knowledge, emphasizing the importance of receiving a high-quality education, developing professional competencies, and becoming competitive specialists capable of making a meaningful contribution to the development of the country.

Special recognition was given to a group of talented students who graduated from school this year with the “Altyn Belgi” (Golden Badge) distinction and enrolled at our university. In recognition of their outstanding academic achievements and commitment to learning, they were formally presented with certificates confirming their status as recipients of the Rector’s Special Grant.

The Director of the Institute of Education and Management, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor A.A. Ramanova, also congratulated the first-year students on the beginning of their university journey and wished them success, new achievements, and outstanding accomplishments throughout the academic year. In addition, letters of appreciation were presented to outstanding applicants who demonstrated excellent academic results and became recipients of educational grants this year.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, an introductory tour of the university was organized for the first-year students. The students were introduced to the academic building, library, lecture rooms, assembly hall, and sports complex, giving them an opportunity to become familiar with the university’s facilities and educational environment.
