“Taza Kazakhstan” is a large-scale national environmental campaign initiated in 2024 by President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Its goal is to improve living conditions in communities, protect the environment, foster environmental awareness, and promote nature conservation. The campaign includes cleanups, tree planting, and the restoration of historical sites.

On April 25, heads of educational and social work departments at institutes, academic group advisors, and 50 students from West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University participated in a sapling planting event on the banks of the Chagan River.

The event included a teleconference with President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and young people from the West Kazakhstan region.
