On April 7, 2026, a meeting was held between A.S. Tasmagambetov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, Director of the Institute of Education and Management at the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, and representatives of the Tajik State University of Commerce: A.R. Kurbonov, Candidate of Economic Sciences, associate professor, First Vice-Rector, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, and N.S. Salimov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Digital Technologies in Economics.

In accordance with the previously concluded cooperation agreement between the universities, the meeting was organized with the aim of strengthening institutional partnerships and enhancing academic collaboration between the parties.

The primary objective of the meeting was to deepen bilateral cooperation in the fields of education, research, and innovation, as well as to identify priority areas for joint activities in the near future.

During the meeting, the following key tasks were outlined:

• to review the current status and future prospects of implementing the cooperation agreement;
• to identify priority areas for joint scientific research and academic programs;
• to promote academic mobility of faculty members, researchers, and students;
• to exchange best practices in educational management and the implementation of modern teaching methodologies;
• to explore opportunities for organizing joint conferences, seminars, and scientific-practical events.

The parties emphasized the importance of intensifying cooperation in the training of highly qualified specialists and expressed mutual interest in expanding their partnership through the implementation of joint projects and initiatives.

As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached to develop a concrete action plan aimed at achieving the outlined objectives, as well as to maintain regular professional dialogue.

The meeting was conducted in a constructive and professional atmosphere, confirming the mutual commitment of the parties to the further development of fruitful cooperation.
