On April 16, 2026, within the framework of the Science Decade, the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety of the Institute of Industrial Technologies at West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University held an International Scientific and Practical Conference titled «Modern Trends in the Development of Agricultural Science, Veterinary Medicine, and Technologies of Industrial and Food Safety».

The conference was conducted in a hybrid format (online and offline), which made it possible to bring together a wide range of participants from different regions and countries.

The aim of the conference was to exchange scientific experience and to discuss current issues and prospects for the development of agricultural science, veterinary medicine, as well as industrial and food safety technologies in modern conditions.

The conference was attended by the faculty members of the department, as well as representatives of partner universities and research organizations: Ulyanovsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin, Yuri Gagarin Saratov State Technical University, Bashkir State Agrarian University, Krasnodar Research Center for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine, Kuban State Agrarian University named after I.T. Trubilin, and Orenburg State Agrarian University.

During the conference, participants discussed актуальные issues of improving the efficiency of agricultural production, the introduction of innovative technologies in veterinary medicine, ensuring industrial and food safety, as well as ensuring environmental safety of production processes. Participants presented the results of their research, exchanged experience, and discussed areas for further cooperation.

The conference became an important platform for strengthening international scientific collaboration, expanding academic ties, and integrating science and education.
