In April 2024, with the support of Shell, Eni and EASST companies and the akimat of the West Kazakhstan region, a training for the youth of the NGO “Zhaiyk Tany” on the project “Safe roads of the West Kazakhstan region” was organized.

During the training, the importance of compliance with traffic regulations by pedestrians, speed limits by motor vehicle drivers and other relevant topics in the field of road safety were discussed.

During the training, the head coach of the EAST project, expert Victor Quironda and Virginia Mandala (Chisinau, Moldova) shared their experience.

The training was attended by senior lecturer of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the ZKITU, мaster Kazhiyakhmetova A.A. and the team of “ENACTUS IOT-WKITU”. They showed their activity and presented their projects on the theme of the campaign “Less traffic jams!”.

The participants completed practical tasks for participation in the mini-Grant, expressed their opinion on the road safety campaign.

All participants received certificates.
