On April 10, 2024, the Institute of Education and Management of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University organized a round table in honor of the decade of science on the topic: “Zhoshy Ulysy-Altyn Orda: zhazba eskertkishterdin rukhani-madeni alemi zhane tarihi kundylyktar.”
As part of the instructions of the Head of State K.K. Tokaev at the III National Kurultai and the grant project IRN AR 19679282 “The language of written monuments of the Middle Ages – spiritual, cultural values” a round table was held offline/online with the participation of foreign scientists.
At the round table, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, director of the Saraishyk State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve Abilseit Muktar made a report on the topic “History of Saraishyk in medieval written sources.”
Professor of South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov, Doctor of Philology, Director of the Research Institute “Social Sciences and Humanities ” Boranbaev Sandybai Redzhepovich made a report “Altyn Orda written monuments – the common heritage of the Turkic peoples.”
Professor of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, Candidate of Historical Sciences Kurmanalin Samat Bakytzhanovich shared his conclusions on the problems of continuity of the Golden Horde and the Kazakh Khanate.
Professor of the University of May 29, PhD, Geksal Ozturk (Turkish Republic, Istanbul) comprehensively analyzed the spiritual and cultural relations of the Golden Horde and the Ottoman Sultanate.
Associate professor of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, PhD Murat Dabylovich Kalmenov shared the findings of archaeological research in a report on the topic “Zhaiyk Settlement – a monument of urban culture of the Golden Horde period.”
Professor of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, Doctor of Philology Sabyr Murat Bokenbaiuly spoke in detail about current issues in the study of monuments of medieval writing. Students, magistrands and lecturers took part in the round table.
