On May 5, 2026, the Department of History and Law of the Institute of Education and Management at West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University held a roundtable discussion on the topic “Yerlikke Tagzym – Urpaqqa Amanat.”

The main purpose of the event was to foster a patriotic spirit in the younger generation, revive historical memory, popularize the heroism of heroes who demonstrated courage during the Great Patriotic War and in defense of the Motherland, and develop students’ historical awareness.

The roundtable was attended by students from educational programs 6B01601 – History and 6B12301 – Law Enforcement, as well as faculty and staff. During the event, participants exchanged views on the heroism of historical figures, patriotic values, and the preservation of national identity. Additionally, students presented reports, presenting insightful ideas based on historical data and research.

During the meeting, participants noted the importance of patriotic education in modern society and placed particular emphasis on the importance of popularizing historical heritage among young people.
