On May 10, 2024, the Career Guidance Department of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University, together with the Employment Center of the Uralsk City Akimat, held a round table on the topic “My Future Profession”. The event was attended by specialists from the Employment Center of the Uralsk City Akimat, 1st-4th-year students majoring in 6I04 Business, Management and Law, 6B03 Social Sciences, 6B01 Pedagogical Sciences, and students from colleges and schools in Uralsk.

Purpose of the event:

— discuss current issues in the modern labor market;

— get acquainted with the future profession;

— show college and school students the potential of the university;

— features of employment of university graduates;

— show students that university students are in great demand in the labor market.

During the event, Deputy Director of the Employment Center of the Uralsk City Akimat Bimukhambetova S.T. spoke, noting the high positions of ZKITU graduates in the labor market. The career guidance department and faculty members presented the university’s educational programs and showed prepared videos about the institute. At the end of the event, college and school students were given an educational tour of the institute building.
