On May 10, a meeting was organized at our university with Candidate of Pedagogy Akhmetov Mereke Gusmanuly, a front veteran, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, in order to pay tribute to the courage and work of front-line veterans for the current generation. on the occasion of the Great Victory Day.Mereke Gusmanuly is the owner of the medals “For Meritorious Service” (1970), “Veteran of Labor” (1987) for many years of teaching activity. Akhmetov M.G. is well known in our region as a scientist and teacher; not everyone knows the life of a veteran who lost his childhood in the war and endured hard work in the rear.During the meeting, the director of the institute Tasmagambetov A.S. noted that the role of front-line soldiers in Victory in the war is high. Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology Kinzhekova R.S. expressed gratitude to the front-line soldier, who endured all the hardships of the war days and set an example of patriotism. Candidate of Philology, associate professor Mamyrov A.Y. told the meeting participants about the life path of Mereke Gusmanuly.Participants of the event listened to the veteran’s stories, asked questions and received answers.
