On November 23, 2023, as part of events dedicated to the 25-th anniversary of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, a round table was held on the topic “Current problems in the development of physical culture and sports in the western region of Kazakhstan.” The event opened with a welcoming speech from the rector of our university, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor B. T. Shakeshev. After the rector’s congratulations, a video was shown about graduates of the educational program “physical culture and sports” entitled: “Sports Stars of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University.” During the round table, together with instructors from the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University, lecturers from Atyrau University after Khalel Dosmukhamedov, West Kazakhstan University after M. Utemisov, and the Higher Pedagogical College after Zhakhansha Dosmukhamedov spoke. At the round table, the achievements of athletes of the West Kazakhstan region in the international arena, the problems of physical education and sports coaches, the need for scientific research in physical education and sports, and issues of sports training depending on age were discussed.

T. Shakeshev with a congratulatory letter and a valuable gift from the rector of the Kh. Dosmukhamedov Atyrau University Idrisov Salamat Nurmukhanuly.
