On April 22, 2025, the Department of Law hosted a round table dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Institute. The topic of discussion was: “Current Issues in Training Qualified Lawyers in Higher Education Institutions.” The round table brought together scholars and lecturers from various regions of our republic, as well as our employers. The main speakers were: Serikqazy Toleuly Abdirakhmanov — Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Dual Education Center at Kunanayev University; Nellie Talapqyzy Sakhanova — Candidate of Legal Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Forensics at the Aktobe Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan named after M. Bokenbayev; Bakytbek Arykbayuly Telibekov — Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor of the Department of Law at Aktobe Baisev University; Irina Mendigereyevna Telibekova — Doctor of Legal Sciences, Professor of the Department of Law at Aktobe Baisev University. The round table addressed key issues and challenges faced by higher education institutions in the process of training highly qualified and in-demand legal professionals, and proposals were developed to improve the quality of legal education. The event was held at a high level and successfully achieved its goals.
