The National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education has been conducting an independent evaluation of educational programs of Kazakhstani universities for five consecutive years.
During this period, more than 2 thousand educational programs were evaluated, 81,393 graduates were analyzed, more than 200 industry experts were involved, as a result of which more than 2 thousand expert opinions were compiled for 97 universities.
NCE “Atameken” evaluated universities according to 19 criteria, the main of which are: the level of employment occupies 52% in the rating of educational programs, the remaining 48% is: median salary, accreditation of the educational program, the quality of teachers, the relevance of programs.
In comparison with previous years, the average percentage of employment of graduates of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in 2022 increased by 1.8% and amounted to 79.5%. In 2020, the indicator was 71%, in 2021 — 77.7%.
Graduates of the West Kazakhstan region showed 86% in terms of employment, this is the highest result in the Republic of Kazakhstan, graduates of the Almaty region are in second place — 85%, and Atyrau region is in third place — 84%. The lowest level of employment is determined in the Kyzylorda and Turkestan regions, where the indicator is 73%.
Employment of graduates of ZKITU FЕН in such educational programs as: “Veterinary medicine” – 96% of employed, “Standardization and certification (by industry)” – 93%, “Construction” – 89%, “Oil and gas business” – 88.9% influenced not a small share to achieve a high result of employment of graduates of the West Kazakhstan region, “Transport, transport equipment and technologies” – 85%, “Electric power industry” -89%.
