Representatives of the academic affairs of the Institute of Industry Technologies of ZKITU took part in a live broadcast on the “Akzhaiyk” TV channel as part of the “Künshuak” program, where they discussed one of the key topics of our time — the formation of future professions and the role of the university in training in-demand specialists.

During the broadcast, the experts emphasized that the rapid development of technology, digitalization, and artificial intelligence is fundamentally transforming the labor market. Today, universities are becoming not only places for acquiring knowledge but also centers for developing new competencies, soft skills, and professional adaptability.

Special attention was paid to how ZKITU builds students’ educational trajectories in line with modern requirements. Digital technologies, practice-oriented learning, and an interdisciplinary approach are actively integrated into the educational process, enabling students to remain competitive in the labor market.

A particular focus was placed on the development of academic mobility. Participation in exchange programs, international internships, and joint educational projects with global partners broadens students’ professional horizons, enhances intercultural communication, and fosters global thinking. Academic mobility is becoming an important tool for training a new generation of specialists capable of working in an international environment.

It was also noted that key future skills include critical thinking, digital literacy, data analysis, and lifelong learning. The university creates all necessary conditions for students to unlock their potential through participation in research projects, internships, international programs, and educational initiatives.

The appearance on the “Akzhaiyk” TV channel became an important platform for engaging with a wide audience on the role of higher education in shaping a new generation of professionals capable of addressing modern challenges and contributing to sustainable economic development.
