On September 30, 2022, the 4th year students of the educational program “Law Enforcement” of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technological University were held a practice-oriented lesson on the topic “Tactics and methods of examining a crime scene against a person” with the participation of the chief forensic specialist of the Operational Forensic Department of the Police Department of the West Kazakhstan Lieutenant Colonel of Police A.M. Malaev of the Kazakhstan Region and Police Captain G.K.
During the lesson, students were divided into operational-criminological and investigative-forensic groups. The students were shown the tactics of examining the corpse found at the scene, the methods of searching, obtaining and securing evidence, the appointment of types of examinations, and the main attention was paid to the independent work of students at the scene.
At the end of the event, the students shared their impressions of the lesson with the guests, and the work of the students was highly appreciated by the police officers.
