According to the order of the dean’s office of the Faculty of Engineering and Humanities of WKITU, a practice-oriented lesson was held at the meat processing plant of the APC Shamshyrak in the discipline: “Practical Surgery with Veterinary Ophthalmology” with 5th year students of the EP “Veterinary Medicine”.

The practice-oriented lesson was conducted by the chief veterinarian of the enterprise N.N. Abdykaparov and assoc. Professor of the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Technosphere Safety, candidate of veterinary sciences A.K. Dnekeshev. During the lesson, students studied the entire technological process of slaughtering animals and were introduced to the topographic anatomy of the lymph nodes and other anatomical formations visually on the carcasses of different animal species. The veterinary specialist of this enterprise on animals clearly showed the boundaries of topographic areas, operational rational methods of incisions in the provision of surgical care.

Conducting practice-oriented classes in the discipline “Practical surgery with veterinary ophthalmology” helps graduates of our university in the EP Veterinary Medicine to solve issues of professional development, and also allows them to successfully adapt to further professional activities in the workplace.
