Last week, the senior lecturer of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of ZKITU, G.E.Kalesheva, conducted a practice-oriented lesson at the Floodplain gas storage station for students of 2-3 courses in OP 6B07201 – Oil and gas business.
A practice-oriented lesson, the purpose of which was to acquire professionally significant knowledge and skills, on the basis of which it is possible to predict successful professional activity.
“Tauekel” LLP was formed in 1997 and is a multidisciplinary, production and trading enterprise in the oil and gas sector. The main task is to supply liquefied gas to different regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The practice-oriented lesson was attended by the master of the STS Remizov Mikhail, where he spoke in detail about the production of liquefied gas, propane-butane mixture – the accompanying gas that is obtained during oil production and refining (gas condensate stabilization products, associated gas during oil production and natural gas (during its processing), about the storage of propane-butane, special equipment for draining, filling and transporting liquefied carbon gas.
During the lesson, students listened with great interest to the explanations of M.V. Remizov, directly employed in production.
During the practice-oriented lesson, students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the organization of production, new equipment and the work of representatives of auxiliary professions.
In the course of training, students can imagine themselves in the conditions of an enterprise, which increases their motivation to study special disciplines, contributes to obtaining new knowledge and the formation of professional competencies.
