On October 15, 2025, for students of OP 6B11201 Life Safety and Environmental Protection of the Institute of Industrial Technologies of the WKITU, a practice-oriented lesson was held in a specialized squad of the Emergency Management Department of the West Kazakhstan Region under the leadership of the head of the specialized squad of the Emergency Management Department of the West Kazakhstan Region, Colonel of civil protection  A.I. Dzhumabaev, as part of the study of the discipline “Fundamentals of Fire Safety”.

A practice-oriented fire safety class is a training session that combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills, such as using fire extinguishers, navigating evacuation routes, and modeling fire situations. During the lesson, the commander of the department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the West Kazakhstan Region, senior civil protection officer Talap A., showed the students the basic techniques for using fire fighting equipment and fire-fighting devices to combat possible emergencies, and familiarized them with ways to evacuate people when saving from fires. Such classes are aimed at developing students’ professional competencies, skills and abilities by performing practical tasks. During the practice-oriented lesson, future specialists openly asked their questions and showed interest in their profession.
