On the 25-th of May, 2018 at the Pedagogical faculty of the West Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University under the supervision of the senior lecturer of the Department of History and SDH Suleimenov S.Kh. an evening was organized for the memory of the outstanding kuiyshi, composer, People’s Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the owner of the order “Kurmet” Tuyakberdy Shamelov. This event was held within the framework of the state program “Bolashakka bagdar: rukhani zhangyru” and timed to the 20th anniversary of the Pedagogical faculty.

The event was attended by kuiyshi, honored worker of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the order “Kurmet” Kaziev E., musician, honored artist of culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, conductor of the folk instruments orchestra after Dauletkerei Kazhymov K., high achiever in culture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, high achiever of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a deputy of the city maslikhat, kuiyshi, director of the college of music after Kurmangazy Sertekov  N.

On the evening of memory sounded compositions: “Armanda ketken agalar” performed by the honored artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan, holder of the order “Kurmet” Kozhakov K. “Tyrnalar” performed by the honored worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khassanova Zh. “Auylymdy sagyndym” performed by the holder of the medal “For diligent work ” Utegenov E. Students of the music college named after Kurmangazy, laureates of republican competitions performed kuiyes “Toremurat” and “El aiyrylgan”.

At the end of the evening the 3 course students of specialty “History” of Pedagogical faculty of the West-Kazakhstan Innovative and Technological University read Sholpan Kydyrniyazova’s poem “Kuiyshі Tuyakka” and Kadyr Myrzaliev’s poem “Kuiyshі Tuyakka”.

At all stages of the historical development of the Kazakh people, the role of dombra music, the skill and creativity of kuiyes performance was significant.
