From April 11 to April 12, 2024, the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad was held among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the educational program 6B03210 – “Library Science”.

The Republican Olympiad was held in Shymkent on the basis of the Department of General History and Museum Affairs of the Mukhtar Auezov South Kazakhstan University. The main objectives of the Republican Olympiad were: revealing creative abilities, selecting and supporting talented and gifted students, promoting the formation of the intellectual potential of competitors, involving them in solving scientific problems of our time and developing interest in scientific activities.

According to the results of the rounds of the Olympiad, the team of the West Kazakhstan Innovation and Technology University “BIBLIOAGENTS-07” consisting of 2nd year students: Marziya Maratovna Kunuspaeva, Aikorkem Erlankyzy Kartanbaeva, Zhadyra Baktiyarovna Zeineshova, Aliya Rakhimzhanovna Shegetaeva won the 3rd place. For the high level of training of students participating in the XVI Republican Subject Olympiad in the educational program 6B03210 – “Library Science”, all participants were awarded a cup, diploma, certificates and letters of gratitude.
