On January 27, 2025, the senior lecturer of the department, G. K. Kuatbek, conducted an open lesson on the discipline “Criminal Procedure Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan” for students of the educational program 6B04202-Jurisprudence. Lesson topic: Principles of criminal procedure. Lesson objectives: – to familiarize students with the basic principles of the criminal process (legality, independence of justice, presumption of innocence, transparency, competitiveness, etc.). – To reveal the essence of each principle: to explain the meaning, essence and significance of each principle in the criminal process. – To understand the system of principles: to show the interrelation of the principles of the criminal process and their functioning as a single system. The lesson was conducted in accordance with all the requirements, and the students’ activity was very high. His teaching skills and the result of his work experience were also visible. The lecture, conducted in a traditional form, achieved its goal. An interactive whiteboard, slide presentation, regulatory legal acts, tasks and codes were used in the lesson.
