In the light of the celebration of the National Currency Day and the professional holiday of employees of the financial system, the week “Prospects for the development of financial specialties and trends in financial education” was held at the Faculty of Languages and Management of ZKITU.

Within the framework of this week, on November 15, 2022, Candidates of Economic Sciences, associate professors of the Accounting and Finance Department G.K. Kurmanova and B.B. Sukhanberdina took part in the program “Kun Shuak” of the Akzhaik TV channel.

During the discussion, the issues of the specifics of the introduction, formation and development of the tenge as the national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan were raised. The participants stressed that the introduction of tenge allowed to form a full-fledged banking sector in the country. Thanks to tenge, Kazakhstan has been able to conduct an independent economic, monetary and emission policy.

Tenge is one of the attributes of the sovereignty of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
