On November 19, 2025, senior lecturers from the Finance and Economics Department, Sh. D. Salimbaeva and D. S. Togasheva, and Yerkebulan Orynbasarovich Akhanov, Head of the Cash Handling and Cash Operations Department of the WKF of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, delivered a guest lecture on “New Banknotes in Circulation: Introduction Features, Security Features, and Economic Significance.”

During the lecture, students learned about the role of banknotes in the economy, the evolution of banknote design, and new banknotes in Kazakhstan: the reasons and stages of development, security features of the new banknotes and their application technologies, as well as the economic and social consequences of introducing new banknotes into circulation. Students were interested in the UKI investment coin and collectible coins.
